G235 is the American standard for galvanized sheet  metal in ounces per square foot. It refers to the use of hot-dip or electro-galvanized zinc plating on the surface of a steel sheet to prevent rust and thus extend its service life.G235 means that there are 2.35 ounces of zinc plated per square foot of area. Converted to Chinese standard units, this is equivalent to 717.2 grams of zinc per square meter of plating, or Z700 galvanized steel, which means that 700g of zinc is plated on the surface of each square meter of steel sheet.
